Well, I think I will be answering my own question on this one, but I've been searching for the past few hours and this is the best thing I have found and wanted to know if anyone else has any other recommended direction or comments on this write-up. [ http://www.thumper300zx.com/z32/boostleaks/boost_leak_guide.htm ] I posted a plea for help in the tech forum, but I think based on the circumstances that I am almost positive I have a boost leak despite my lack of knowledge. So my question is whether anyone knows of any additional information that would help my cause such as the one I listed before. I am stressing to my wits end over nothing, basically because my car has been down for the past three months and I just got it back 2 days ago, only for this to happen. My mechanical in-expertise and naivety do not help things either! The vehicle hasn't been disabled, but I am concerned about the unmetered air (if thats what is even happening) causing everything to lean out and cause undue damage to my engine (hoping the JWT ECU runs rich enough to alleviate this possibility). Not to mention that it is currently my DD, so the only option I really have is to fix now (and compounded even further by the financial burden of dumping 3-4K in such a short span of time). Just a stressful situation for me to not know what exactly is wrong, and the idea of "boost leaks" seems so ominous that my Z might be down for a while again. Sorry to bring this crap to the general forum, but I was hoping to possibly get faster results due to the DD situation (so admin feel free to move/delete at will). Yeah, I know. Welcome to the Z...
